Tomorrow is the Ex's birthday.

I told myself that I'd call her on her birthday. Not before. It's been nine months since we've spoken. There have been so many times that I have wanted to dial her number, but I put myself off. Told myself to wait for her birthday.

I've got the voicemail all planned out in my head. What to say. I've been going over it for the past couple of months.

I have no idea what I'm going to do if she answers.

Oh, and it's Election Day, too.
