Labor Day

It was hot today. So hot that I went to Kyle’s.

I hadn’t decided whether or not I wanted to hang out with Kyle today until I woke up and could barely move due to the heat. Then I realized that my car would be air conditioned for the entire drive down and his apartment is also air-conditioned.

So I went back to La Mirada. It turned out to be pretty fun. Though I did accidentally drink soda. Kyle and my cups looked identical, so instead of sipping on my ice tea, I got a mouthful of Barq’s root beer.

Ten months without drinking any soda while in the state of California.
It tasted good. Really good.
